Given that most voters had no preference about anonymity, but the few people who did voted in favor of anonymity, I decided we'd go ahead and make the vids anonymous when they're posted. It makes sense in my head! When vids are submitted and first go live, they will be anonymous. One week after the vids go live, vidder names will be revealed.

More detailed submission instructions, including a template for submitting, will follow when it gets much closer (and I have more time to write them). But just so everyone knows what they're getting into when they sign up, here's an overview of how submissions will work.

You will be required to submit a download link for your final unsigned vid (i.e. a vid that does not reveal who made it), along with header info (title, vidder, recipient, song info, character focus, summary, any notes you want to include) to tsccvidexchange(at)gmail(dot)com. I will then host the anon vids for streaming on a streaming account set up just for this exchange. (probably Vimeo, but we'll see). I will make a post to the comm with the embed for each vid, which will be posted when the vids go live. Yay!

You will also be required to submit a signed vid. At reveals (one week after the vids go live), I will replace the anon vid embed with the signed vid link that you provide. Your signed vid link can be either: 1) a download link (for the vid on your website, on Mediafire, Sendspace, or etc.) for the vid with credits revealing who made the vid; 2) a link to a post in your journal (or to your AO3 post or wherever you post your vids) that contains the signed vid. If you select this option, you should initially make the vid post private in your journal, and then send the link to that post to me. At reveals, I will replace the anon vid with the link to your vid post, which you will then make public. Ask if you have questions about that! 3) If you don't provide a signed link, I will leave the unsigned vid up.

Once vidders are revealed, you can of course crosspost your vid anywhere you want.
